News Narelda Jacobs OAM to speak at ChangeFest25

We’re thrilled to announce Narelda Jacobs OAM as an important opening speaker for ChangeFest25, taking place this November on Whadjuk Noongar Country in Walyalup (Fremantle).

A proud Whadjuk Noongar woman currently calling Gadigal home, Narelda is a journalist, presenter, and a trailblazer in Australian media. For a quarter of a century, she has stood alongside community leaders on some of the nation’s most pressing issues and blended sharp journalism with cultural advocacy across our screens, stages, and national conversations.  As a journalist, Narelda has been working with communities across Australia to have their stories centred in the national narrative.

The Walyalup Elders and Leaders Group are proud to invite Narelda to speak about what community-led change means in the context of nation re-building on Whadjuk country and to help start the conversation at the ChangeFest25 gathering on her home Country.
