ChangeFest27
ChangeFest27 will bring together people committed to creating positive, lasting change in communities from Wednesday 21 to Friday 23 April 2027 on Gimuy Country in Cairns South, Queensland.
At the ChangeFest25 Closing Ceremony in Walyalup, the ChangeFest Statement and message stick were passed to Gimuy Walubara Elder Uncle Neville Reys, extending the ChangeFest Songlines to Far North Queensland.
ChangeFest27 is being shaped in partnership with the Gimuy Walubara Yidinji Elders Aboriginal Corporation and Cairns South Together, alongside the local community. Grounded in Country, local stories and priorities, the Gathering will create space for people across the movement to connect, learn and strengthen collective action.
The Gathering will be centred at PCYC Edmonton and the surrounding sporting precinct, around 20 minutes from Cairns City.
