Janine is a proud Nyikina and Bunuba woman who was born and raised in Derby, living on Yawuru Country and a proud mother of two young men.
Janine's 2026 Paul Ramsay Fellowship seeks to support First Nations women-led Kimberley nation rebuilding by developing a culturally grounded framework and training approach that equips her people for self-determination.
