Aunty Faith Green

Aunty Faith Green, is a proud Wakka Wakka, Kabi Kabi women with links to the Koa Nation on her father’s side. Aunty Faith grew up on the mission in Cherbourg with her family.

For the past 30+ years, Aunty Faith has volunteered in the Logan community, supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander jarjums, young people and families with education, health, housing, wellbeing and staying connected to culture.

Now the CEO of Gunya Meta, a community-led First Nations non-for-profit organisation in Logan, Aunty Faith is working with the great grandchildren of the families she was supporting in her early days- making her relationships and support 3 generations strong.

Aunty Faith become involved with the ChangFest movement in 2018, and has continue this journey today. Aunty Faith believes Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people can do anything and with the right support can walk in both worlds with confidence.
